Hocking Hills, located in Southeast Ohio, has become a popular destination for outdoor recreation. With its rugged terrain and stunning natural features, Hocking Hills is the perfect spot to camp and explore the area.

But does Hocking Hills have tent camping? The answer is yes!

Tent camping is available in various locations throughout Hocking Hills. Located in the heart of the park, Old Man’s Cave is one of the most popular spots for tent camping.

There are multiple sites along Old Man’s Cave Trail that are perfect for setting up your tent and enjoying a night under the stars. There are also sites located throughout other areas of the park such as Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Conkle’s Hollow, Rock House, and Cantwell Cliffs.

Each campsite offers different amenities depending on where you choose to stay. Most sites feature picnic tables, grills, fire rings and access to bathrooms with running water. Some sites also offer electric hookups for RVs or primitive tent camping without access to electricity or running water.

In addition to traditional tent camping, there are several other options available for visitors to Hocking Hills. There is a campground located near Old Man’s Cave that offers cabins and lodges as well as RV sites with electric hookups. There are also numerous privately-owned cabins available throughout the region that offer more luxurious accommodations than traditional tent camping.
