Does the Epic Pass Include Mountain Biking?

The Epic Pass is one of the most popular ski season passes available, and it’s easy to understand why. With access to over 65 different resorts across five countries, Epic Pass holders have the benefit of being able to ski and snowboard on some of the best terrain in the world. However, many people are left wondering, does the Epic Pass include mountain biking?

The short answer is no, it does not. The Epic Pass is a ski-specific season pass and does not include any mountain biking access or benefits.

However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t ways for Epic Pass holders to get some mountain biking in during their ski season. Many resorts that are included on the Epic Pass offer lift-accessed mountain biking during their summer seasons.

Vail Resorts owns several resorts that are included on the Epic Pass such as Breckenridge Ski Resort in Colorado; Park City Mountain and Canyons Village in Utah; Heavenly Mountain Resort in California and Nevada; Northstar California Resort; Kirkwood Mountain Resort; and Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia. All of these resorts offer lift-accessed mountain biking during their summer seasons.

Breckenridge Ski Resort has over 40 miles of downhill trails that are accessible via chairlift rides, so riders can enjoy a variety of terrain without having to hike back up after each run. There are beginner trails for those just starting out as well as advanced trails for more experienced riders looking for a challenge.

Park City Mountain has over 400 miles of trails available for riders of all levels, ranging from easy green runs to challenging black diamond runs. The resort also offers bike rentals if you don’t have your own equipment or want to try something new for the day.

Canyons Village, located at Park City Mountain Resort, also offers lift-accessed mountain biking during its summer season with over 35 miles of trails ranging from easy green runs to challenging black diamond runs as well as bike rentals if needed.

Heavenly Mountain Resort, located on both sides of the California/Nevada border has over 30 miles of downhill trails available via chairlifts rides with plenty of terrain for riders of all levels from beginner to advanced. The resort also offers bike rentals if needed.

Northstar California Resort, located near Lake Tahoe also offers lift-accessed mountain biking during its summer season with over 100 miles of trails ranging from beginner friendly green runs all the way up to advanced black diamond runs as well as bike rentals if needed.
