Breckenridge Ski Resort is the largest ski resort in North America, and is the second-most visited ski resort in the United States. It is located in Breckenridge, Colorado, and opened in 1961. The resort covers 2,358 acres of terrain and features five peaks, with over 187 trails serviced by 30 lifts.

The mountain offers varied terrain for all levels of skiers from beginner to expert. The longest run is almost 4 miles long and boasts an elevation change of nearly 3,400 feet!

Beginner runs are located lower down on the mountain where the terrain is less steep and the snow is more forgiving for those new to skiing. Intermediate runs are at mid-mountain level and advanced skiers have plenty of challenging runs to choose from on the upper mountain.

Breckenridge Ski Resort also offers unique activities such as dog sledding, snowmobiling, sleigh rides, snowcat tours, snowshoeing and tubing. There are also excellent restaurants and bars located throughout the resort which provide a nice break from skiing or riding the lifts.
