Next closest is Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Westford, Massachusetts which is a little over an hour northeast of Boston. Nashoba Valley features 17 trails and three terrain parks, with an elevation of 1,000 feet. It also has night skiing available so you can ski into the wee hours.

Bousquet Ski Area in Pittsfield, Massachusetts is located two hours west of Boston and is another great option for those looking for a quick getaway from the city. Bousquet has 24 trails, four terrain parks and an elevation of 1,200 feet. It also offers night skiing and tubing.

Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Hancock, Massachusetts is two-and-a-half hours west of Boston and offers 45 trails with an elevation of 1,150 feet. Jiminy Peak also has four terrain parks as well as night skiing and tubing available on select evenings throughout the season.

Berkshire East Ski Resort in Charlemont, Massachusetts is approximately three hours west of the city and features 34 trails with an elevation of 1,350 feet. It also has four terrain parks and night skiing available Thursday through Sunday nights during peak season.
