Lee Canyon Ski Resort is a ski resort located in Lee Canyon, Nevada, just outside of Las Vegas. The resort opened its doors to the public in December of 1963 and has been a popular destination for skiers and snowboarders ever since.
Lee Canyon Ski Resort was founded by two brothers, John and Peter Binkley, who were avid skiers from the Midwest. They had always dreamed of owning their own ski resort and saw an opportunity to make their dreams come true in Nevada.
With the help of their family and friends, the Binkleys purchased land in Lee Canyon and began building the resort.
The resort quickly became popular among locals and tourists alike thanks to its convenient location near Las Vegas. It offers a variety of trails for all levels of skiers and snowboarders, as well as amenities like a ski school, ski rentals, a terrain park, and more.
Lee Canyon Ski Resort is also known for its excellent customer service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the sport and can provide tips or advice on skiing or snowboarding techniques.
